Our history

Choco Plus is a family business created in 2015 by Danae Lagos, who having the raw material of their parents and knowing the valuable contributions to the health of the aromatic grain, decides to value its production.

The model that Danae and her parents use has as one of their fundamental principles to work with the best varieties of cocoa using good practices for the harvest and benefit of Peruvian cocoa, involving the Production Sector, Consumer Sector and Technical Sector.
It is located in the District of Rio Negro, Province of Satipo, Department of Junín.

We have cocoa tree plantations that are grown in an agroforestry system with timber trees and other edibles, such as bananas, orange, papaya.

Our job is to inspect the cocoa plantations and supervise the process of harvesting, fermentation and drying, which allows us to have traceability throughout the production chain. Also, part of our work is to protect the environment (free of chemicals, pesticides and fertilizers), and preserve an ecological balance between animals, soil, plants and humans.
